Timing Pulley Quick Reference — Profile & Pitch
Timing pulleys are specified by tooth profile (HTD / GT / Imperial / Metric), pitch (tooth-to-tooth distance), tooth count, and bore configuration (pilot bore or taper lock). The profile MUST match the timing belt — HTD pulleys take HTD belts, GT pulleys take GT belts, etc. AIMS stocks Aetna, Finer Power Transmissions and Gates timing pulleys.

HTD Timing Pulleys

Steel pilot bore pulleys are available in 5M for moderate-duty applications requiring a harder material than aluminium.
