The Garrick Herbert Portable Evaporative Air Cooler comes in four sizes, from a 45L unit that covers around 20–45 m² of office or small workshop space up to a 240L unit for open workshops and warehouse floors of around 100–150 m².

Each portable evaporative cooler draws air through water-soaked cooling pads and pushes it back out as cooler air, using no refrigerant, so only the fan and water pump draw power. Every size runs on 240V with a remote control and castor wheels, so it moves to where the work is. Like any evaporative air cooler, it is most effective in hot, dry weather, and Garrick Herbert designs it for indoor use only.

At a glance

Tank capacity

45L, 120L, 145L or 240L

Effective cooling area

20–45 m² (45L) up to 100–150 m² (240L)

Airflow

4,800 to 18,000 m³/h, depending on size

Motor

200W, 300W, 600W or 1100W

Power supply

240V

Control

Remote control, 3 to 12 fan speeds by model

Workshops and service bays – spot cooling for mechanics, fabricators and maintenance crews

Warehouses and factories – the 145L and 240L units suit larger open floor areas

Offices and studios – the compact 45L unit suits rooms of around 20–45 m²

Garages and small work areas – roll it into position on castors and plug it in

Full specifications, applications and features are in the tabs below.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0740/5191/1957/files/Garrick_Herbert_Portable_Evaporative_Air_Cooler_45L_01362cdb-7ea2-4c42-bee0-51d20bdf384b.webp?v=1793166622
