The point shaves rather than cuts, so this tile drill bit starts cleanly and drills accurate holes in Class 3 ceramic tile and glass, with spiral flutes that clear dust and keep heat down as you go.

This trade pack holds five 80 mm bits in a hard plastic wallet, so tilers, plumbers and fit-out crews keep spares on hand and pay less per bit than buying singles. Use it in a standard drill with the hammer function off. Like any glass drill bit, it is not suitable for toughened glass.

At a glance

Diameter

6 mm

Overall length

80 mm

Tip

Copper-brazed tungsten carbide (TCT)

Point

Four-facet diamond spear point

Shank

Parallel – for non-hammer drills

Pack

5 bits in a reusable plastic wallet

Tiling and bathroom fit-out – fixing holes for rails, holders and accessories in ceramic wall tile

Plumbing – holes through tiled walls for pipework, brackets and fittings

Glass work – clean holes in standard, non-toughened glass

Building and maintenance – light drilling in brick, cement sheet, plastics and fibreglass

Full specifications, applications and features are in the tabs below.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0740/5191/1957/files/D604T600_5pk_glass_tile_drill_tradepack_6mm_a9fda2e0-337d-411f-b68d-a18f4e7af048.webp?v=1792134323
https://aimsindustrial.com.au/en-nz/products/sutton-tools-d604-glass-tile-drill-bits-6mm-x-80mm-pack-of-5
