These alloy dies (SD59912 and SD89245) cut NPT threads and are made for AST automatic threading, formed from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading. The alloy is ideal for general purpose work on black or galvanised pipe and rod, while the wider Asada range also covers BSPT, BSPS, Conduit, BSW, Metric, UNC and UNF. Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended to keep die life up.
