Filled with Spillfix Universal Organic Absorbent, this boom contains a spill at the source before you apply the loose absorbent material. The coir gives strong wicking action that draws the spill through the boom, while increased surface contact traps migrating liquids and prevents leakage underneath. Because the organic absorbent prefers hydrocarbons such as oil over water, AIMS Industrial supplies it as an oil absorbent suited to outdoor and wet conditions.
