First choice in austenitic stainless steel turning. Complements in steel turning with heavy intermittent cuts.
Ti(C,N) + Al2O3 + Used Edge Detection (Chrome).

M5 Chipbreaker Programme

A highly reliable chip breaker for positive inserts. Intended for medium-rough and rough machining of steels, stainless steels, and cast iron.
Combines high edge strength with comparatively low cutting forces.
Safe action in interruptions and rough skin on parts also including boring.
Indicative machining range: f = 0,15–0,60 mm/rev, ap = 1–5 mm.
