Cordless Drills & Drivers
AIMS Industrial stocks cordless drill drivers and impact drivers for trade, maintenance and industrial use. From compact 18V drill drivers for general fastening and drilling to high-torque brushless impact drivers for structural fastening, our range covers the core cordless driving requirements of Australian tradespeople and workshop operators.
Drill Drivers
A cordless drill driver is the most versatile tool on any job — drilling holes in timber, metal and masonry, driving screws and mixing small batches of adhesive or compound with an appropriate paddle. Key features to consider are chuck size (13mm keyless for most applications), clutch settings (variable torque to prevent overdriving fasteners), and whether a hammer drill function is needed for concrete anchor installation.
Impact Drivers
Impact drivers use a rotational hammering mechanism to deliver high torque in bursts — making them dramatically faster than drill drivers for driving long screws, lag bolts and structural fasteners where a drill driver would stall or cam out. The 1/4" hex bit holder accepts all standard impact-rated bits. An impact driver is not a substitute for a drill driver for hole drilling, but is the preferred tool for high-volume fastening on frames, decking and formwork.
Brushless Motors
Brushless motor drill drivers and impact drivers run cooler, last longer and offer better power efficiency than brushed equivalents — typically delivering 30–50% more run time per charge from the same battery. Brushless is now the standard specification for professional-grade cordless tools. For help selecting the right drill or driver for your application, contact our team.
