What Are Ceramic Epoxy Repairs?
Ceramic epoxy systems are two-component thermoset compounds filled with ceramic, aluminium oxide or tungsten carbide particles. When mixed and applied, they cure to a hard, wear-resistant coating or rebuild that bonds directly to prepared metal surfaces — restoring geometry, sealing damage and protecting the substrate from further wear. Unlike welding or machining, ceramic epoxy repairs can be applied in-place without heating or specialised equipment.
