Types of Grease Pumps

• Manual hand-operated pumps: Lever or handle-operated pumps for low-volume greasing tasks where a compressed air supply is unavailable or not practical. Compact and portable. Suitable for smaller grease containers (2.5 kg to 20 kg). Macnaught K7 MINILUBE and Macnaught K4 SUPERLUBE are the benchmark hand pump models.
• Air-operated drum pumps (20 kg): Pneumatic piston pumps that sit on top of a 20 kg grease drum and deliver grease under high pressure through a hose and gun. The most common configuration for workshop and fleet maintenance. Macnaught P3 POWERLUBE and Alemlube 20kg portable grease kit lead this category.
• Air-operated high-volume pumps (180kg/44 Gallon): High-ratio pumps for 180kg (44 gallon) drums used in high-throughput fleet, mining and agricultural maintenance where a 20 kg drum would be exhausted too quickly. Lubemate 180kg Air-Operated Grease Pump Kit and Samoa 60:1 Ratio 180kg Grease Pump are the heavy-duty options.
• Electric grease pumps: Mains-powered (240V) and battery (24V) electric pump kits where compressed air is unavailable. Alemlube 240V 20kg Grease Kit and Alemlube 24V 20kg Grease Kit serve this market.
• Foot-operated pumps: Foot-pedal operated grease bucket pumps for hands-free grease dispensing. Alemlube Foot Operated Grease Bucket Pump and Macnaught Foot Operated 10kg Bucket Pump are the key products in this category.
• Underground mining-rated: Selected models from Alemlube and iCan are rated for underground coal mine use where explosion-proof ratings are required.
