Inspection Cameras and Borescopes

Modern digital borescopes include LED illumination at the probe tip and a handheld display for viewing the live image, with image capture and video recording for documentation and remote reporting. Probe diameters range from around 5mm for tight passages up to larger diameters for general inspection, with probe lengths from 1 metre for engine bay inspection to 10 metres or more for pipeline and duct inspection. Telescoping Mirrors and Inspection Lights

Telescoping inspection mirrors extend to provide a view around corners, behind panels, and into confined spaces that cannot be directly seen. Mirrors with built-in LED lighting illuminate the inspection area for clear visibility in dark or poorly lit spaces. The extending handle on quality telescoping mirrors locks securely at the required length to hold the mirror steady during inspection. Flexible-handle mirrors allow the mirror head to be angled precisely for the required viewing geometry. LED inspection lights in slim, flexible formats allow illumination of deep cavities and behind-panel spaces where standard torches cannot reach effectively without obstructing the view.

Magnetic and Mechanical Retrievers

Magnetic retrievers use strong rare earth or ceramic magnets on extending telescoping shafts or flexible cables to recover dropped nuts, bolts, sockets, and ferrous components from engine bays, sumps, machinery frames, and deep recesses. Flexible-shaft magnetic retrievers navigate around corners and obstructions to reach inaccessible drop locations. Four-jaw mechanical grabbers and claw retrievers handle non-magnetic items — plastic components, rubber seals, hose clamps, and other dropped objects that a magnet cannot pick up. A combination of magnetic and mechanical retrievers in a service kit covers the full range of retrieval situations encountered in mobile equipment and workshop maintenance.
