Weld Grinding and Blending

Weld grinding is one of the primary applications for belt linishers in fabrication shops. Grit selection follows the same logic as any abrasive sequence: coarser grits (40–80) for rapid stock removal and weld reduction, finer grits (120–240) for blending and pre-polish finishing, with intermediate grits used for the transition between removal and finishing stages.
