Material Support Stands for Machine Tools and Fabrication

Material support stands provide external support for long workpieces fed into machine tools, bandsaws, pipe benders, and fabrication equipment. Without a support stand, long bar stock, pipe, or structural sections unsupported at the far end create a dangerous lever arm that can tip the material off the machine, damage the workpiece, and create a hazard for the operator. Roller Support Stands

Roller support stands use a freely rotating ball or roller at the top of an adjustable-height column to support the workpiece while allowing it to be fed longitudinally into the machine. The rolling contact eliminates the friction that a fixed-rest surface would create, allowing long bar and pipe to be pushed or pulled through the machine without resistance from the support. Roller height adjustment matches the support point to the machine's infeed table height — essential for accurate alignment with the machine's feed axis.
