Product Features

• The three fluted countersink is self centering with wide flutes and is used to provide a heavy chamfer in the entrance to a drilled hole
• M35 Cobalt High Speed Steel offers increased wear and heat resistance in alloy steels, stainless steels and other abrasive or difficult materials
• This increases tool life in all production applications

Applications

• Triple flute countersinks are ideal for countersinking and deburring in a wide range of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals

Specifications

• This treatment results in reduced friction, greater heat dissipation and reduced cold welding - which means higher speed and feed rates with greatly increased tool life
• Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coated Countersinks have a very hard gold coloured surface finish
• This coating is only a few microns thick and is achieved by Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD)
• As with all surface coated tools, performance will deteriorate after resharpening
