Asada HSS Dies 2 1/2 - 3" NPT (AST Automatic)

Asada HSS NPT threading dies for 2 1/2 to 3 inch pipe, for use with AST Automatic dieheads. They are made from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading, and the HSS material is for threading stainless steels and high tensile steels.

The life of the dies is greatly affected by the quality of cutting oil used, so Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended.

Selecting the right option

Check the thread (NPT), size range (2 1/2 to 3 inch) and die head type (AST Automatic) before ordering. For general purpose threading of black or galvanised pipe use alloy dies instead. Use Asada Threading Oil, Standard Grade or Asada Neat Threading Oil, High Grade with these dies.
