Bossweld Collet Body 2.4 mm, 17/18/26 Series fits 17, 18 and 26 series TIG torches. It is supplied in a pack of 5.

The collet body threads into the torch head and holds the collet. It sets the tungsten position and passes the shielding gas around the electrode, so a worn or loose collet body shows up as an unstable arc or poor gas coverage.

• TIG welding where the tungsten has to sit in a precise, repeatable position
• Replacing a worn, damaged or loose collet body
• Changing tungsten diameter on the same torch
