Contego Versadex General Handling Gloves, Grey, Medium (COVDEXMEKGY000M)

The Contego Versadex general handling glove has a slim cut with a PU impregnated palm, thumb crotch reinforcement, palm and knuckle padding, a stretch spandex back and double elastic shirring at the wrist. Contego's data sheet lists the glove as touch screen compatible (manufacturer-stated). It is sold in black and grey (AIMS record).

Contego's data sheet gives EN 388 2142 and Beaver's catalogue gives 2111. Beaver's sources give different results for this glove and the lower figures are used here. That is 2111: abrasion 2, blade cut 1, tear 1 and puncture 1 (manufacturer-stated). Blade cut level 1 is the lowest level, so this is not a cut resistant glove. The EN 388 result (manufacturer-stated) is read in the order abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture, and a higher number is a higher level. A 0 means the glove did not reach level 1, and an X means that test was not done. Match the glove to your risk assessment, check the fit, and replace gloves that are worn, torn or contaminated. The ratings are test results on the glove material and do not describe every hazard on your site.
