DrySorb granules are suited to oil, fuel, and general hydrocarbon spills as well as water-based liquids. They are not suitable for corrosive acid or alkali spills, which require specialist absorbents. Contaminated granules must be disposed of in accordance with local waste classification requirements — confirm with your waste contractor whether hydrocarbon-contaminated clay is classified as general or scheduled waste in your jurisdiction.
