Frontier Type 5/6 SMS Disposable Coverall, Orange, 2X-Large (FRCVRLSMSOO02XL)

The Frontier Type 5/6 SMS disposable coverall is a one piece 55 gsm coverall made from triple layer SMS polypropylene. Frontier's data sheet lists it as a Category III coverall rated Type 5 for hazardous particles (EN 13982-1) and Type 6 for limited liquid splash (EN 13034), with anti-static treatment (EN 1149-5) and protection against radioactive particles (EN 1073-2) (manufacturer-stated).

The coverall has a three panel elasticised hood designed to work with other PPE, elasticised wrists, back and ankles, and a zipper with a storm flap (manufacturer-stated). Frontier lists applications as painting and spraying, mining, wood and metal processing, industrial manufacturing, general maintenance and construction, and also asbestos removal (manufacturer-stated). Asbestos work is regulated in Australia, so follow your asbestos removal control plan and the requirements for your licence class, and check the coverall suits that work before you use it.

A type rating describes the fabric and seams under test and does not cover every exposure. Check the chemical, the exposure and the job against the rating, and have your safety adviser confirm the coverall suits the hazard. The radioactive particle rating is protection against radioactive particles landing on the wearer, and is not protection against ionising radiation.

This listing carries blue and orange in medium to 3XL and white in medium to 5XL. Beaver's size chart runs from small to 3XL (manufacturer-stated), so contact AIMS for sizing advice on the white 4XL and 5XL. Beaver packs the coverall 1 to a pack and 50 to a carton (manufacturer-stated).
