LOCTITE 243 is a blue, general-purpose threadlocker providing medium-strength bond. It works on all metals without primer, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces. Cures through most corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids on as-received fasteners. Breakaway torque (M10 steel): approx. 26 N·m. Prevail torque: 5.0 N·m. Viscosity: 2150 mPa·s. Specific gravity: 1.08. Fixture time: 10 min. Application temperature: -55 to +180°C. Colour: Blue.
