LOCTITE 401 is a fast-fixturing instant adhesive designed for assembly of a wide range of materials where uniform stress distribution and high tensile and shear strength are required. Using Loctite SF 770 primer, bonding of difficult substrates (PP, PE, PTFE) is possible. Suited to porous materials including wood, paper, leather and fabric. Fixture time, steel: 5 s. Gap fill: 0.15 mm. Shear strength, mild steel: 20 N/mm2 (2900 psi). Viscosity: 100 mPa·s. Operating temperature: -40 to +120°C. Colour: Clear. Cure type: Moisture cure.
