Loctite SF 770 Polyolefin Primer

The Loctite SF 770 Polyolefin Primer (formerly Loctite 770) prepares polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and thermoplastic rubbers for bonding with Loctite instant adhesives. These low-energy plastics are difficult to bond, and the primer lets the adhesive perform on them close to its data sheet figures. Primed parts stay active for up to 8 hours, and the primer fluoresces under UV light for coverage checks. This is the 100 ml bottle.
Spray, brush or dip a light coat onto the plastic only, let it dry, then apply the instant adhesive and assemble promptly for the strongest bond. It is not suited to joints needing high peel strength, it is highly flammable, and the solvent can attack some plastics and coatings, so test first. Consult the Safety Data Sheet before use.
