Engineered for vibration-resistant bolted joints, Nord-Lock Standard Washer UNC Delta Protekt holds preload in critical assemblies where loosening cannot be tolerated. The wedge-locking cam angle is larger than the bolt thread pitch, so any rotation actually increases clamping tension. Suited to heavy machinery, rail, mining, wind energy, offshore and structural engineering assemblies that cannot afford bolt failure. Nord-Lock Standard Washer UNC Delta Protekt is engineered to secure bolted joints against vibration, dynamic load and thermal cycling through a wedge-locking cam action.
