The TiCN surface treatment reduces friction, improves chip evacuation and extends service life compared with uncoated tools — particularly valuable in harder or abrasive materials. Select the correct Whitworth thread form and size to match your fastener specification. Verify thread tolerance class 6H meets your assembly requirements. Maximum cutting depth is rated at 3xD — keep within this limit to maintain hole quality and avoid overloading the tool.
