Wiha 118mm Micro Oblique Plier Cutting Nipper - Z46003
Out of stock
The Wiha 118 mm diagonal cutter is precision-ground in Germany for clean flush cutting of wire, component leads, and cable ties. Induction-hardened cutting edges extend service life, and the spring-loaded handles return automatically on release to reduce hand fatigue on repetitive cutting.
Where this tool is used
- Electronics assembly and PCB rework — component lead trimming and wire cutting where clean flush cuts prevent shorts and board damage.
- Cable preparation and wire harnessing in automotive, marine, and industrial wiring looms — diagonal cutters are the standard tool for lead and wire trimming.
- Telecommunications and data-centre cabling — cutting patch-cord tails, strapping, and fine copper wire in dense rack environments.

Selecting the right option
Match cutter size to wire gauge — a larger cutter gives more leverage on heavier wire but is less precise on fine leads. Never cut hardened wire (piano wire, spring steel) — this damages the cutting edges.
Why Wiha?
Wiha has manufactured precision hand tools in Schonach, Germany since 1939. Every tool is produced in-house — steel selection, forging, heat treatment, tip grinding, and handle moulding — under one roof. That vertical integration is why Wiha can guarantee precise geometry, consistent hardness, and handle-to-blade balance that you can feel after a full shift. AIMS Industrial is your Australian source for the full Wiha range, with same-day despatch from Sydney and expert advice on tool selection for your application.
