The SIT BTU71.03 is a 70 mm twist knot steel cup brush with an M14 thread for angle grinders, rated to 14,000 rpm.

Twist knot wire is aggressive and suits heavy duty work such as slag and rust removal. The retaining skirt holds the wire firmly in place, which makes the brush aggressive, and it can be removed to use the underlying wire.

Selecting the right option

Angle grinders up to 100 mm generally have an M10 x 1.5 thread, and grinders of 115 mm and above generally have an M14 x 2 thread, so check the thread on your grinder before you order. Match the brush to your machine and do not run it above its maximum speed rating. Wear eye protection and gloves when brushing, because wire can break off during use.
