Choosing a torch or kit
Choose by the fuel gas and the size of the job. Air/LPG and MAPP torches suit heating and smaller brazing and soldering work without oxygen, while the oxy-fuel kits add oxygen for higher heat and cutting. Check whether a kit includes a regulator, because some are listed without one, and make sure the regulator, hoses and flashback protection are right for the gas you use. Gas equipment should be set up and used by trained people. Always check the data sheet.

Which fuel gas should I choose?
It depends on the heat and the job. Air/LPG and MAPP torches suit heating and lighter brazing and soldering without oxygen. Oxy-acetylene and oxy-LPG kits add oxygen for higher heat and cutting. Tell us what you are working on and we will help narrow it down.
Does the kit include a regulator?
It varies. The Bossweld Air LPG 3 burner kit is listed without a regulator, and the other Air LPG kit comes with a gaugeless regulator. Check each listing, and we also list a Bossweld Air/LPG regulator separately.
Do the oxy kits come with flashback arrestors?
Two of the Bossweld oxy-fuel kits are listed with flashback arrestors. For the others the title does not say, so check the product page or call us on (02) 9773 0122 before ordering.
