Deburring Blade Selection — Quick Reference

Deburring blades — REPLACEMENT BLADES for hand + power deburring tools (Noga + Trax). Match BLADE PROFILE + MATERIAL to job. Production volume + workshop steady use makes blade replacement frequent + economy critical.

Deburring Blade Type Best For
HSS Standard Blade Workshop steel + brass + aluminium
Cobalt Blade Hardened material + stainless
Carbide Blade Premium + production volume
Internal Bore Blade Tube + pipe ID + bore deburr
External Edge Blade OD + plate + sheet edges
Counter-Sink Blade Drilled hole counter-sink + deburr
Mini / Micro Blades Precision + electronics
Match Tool Brand Noga / Trax / Vargus etc.

Critical: Match TOOL BRAND — blades NOT universal. Replace at first CHIP — chipped blade = poor finish + scratch + risk. Brands: Noga, Trax. Companion: deburring tools, deburring kits, machining, hand tools.

Deburring Blades

AIMS Industrial stocks Noga replacement deburring blades for the full range of Noga handles — precision-ground high-carbon steel blades for clean, controlled burr removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Replacement blades are the consumable component of the Noga deburring system; keeping a selection of blade types on hand ensures the right edge geometry is available for every deburring task without tool changeover delay.

E100 Series — Straight-Edge Blades

The E100 series is the standard straight-edge replacement blade for general deburring work — removing burrs from flat faces, straight edges and external corners on machined components and fabrications. E100 blades are available in multiple grinds for different edge conditions, from fine edge breaking on precision components to more aggressive stock removal on structural steel edges. These are the most widely used blade in the Noga range and suit the broadest range of deburring handles.

N100 Series — Curved and Contoured Blades

The N100 series provides curved and contoured blade profiles for internal deburring work — drill hole chamfering, bore entry edges, cross-drilling burrs and internal radii on castings and housings. The curved blade profile maintains contact with the inside surface of the hole or bore throughout the deburring stroke, producing a consistent chamfer and removing the burr cleanly without digging in or chattering. N100 blades are the tool of choice for deburring hydraulic ports, fastener holes and precision bores where internal edge quality matters.

RS Series — Reversible Blades

The RS series reversible blade provides two cutting edges per blade — the operator uses one edge until it dulls, then flips the blade to expose the second fresh edge before replacement. On high-volume deburring work where blade consumption is significant, the RS series effectively doubles blade life and reduces the cost per hour of deburring. RS blades are suited to repetitive production deburring tasks on similar components where a consistent edge geometry is maintained throughout the run.

Compatibility and Replacement

All Noga blades are precision-ground from high-carbon tool steel and are designed for direct compatibility with standard Noga NB, NG and NF series handles. Blades are replaced in seconds using the quick-change interface — no tools required. Blades are available individually for replacement or in assortment packs covering multiple profiles — individual blades suit toolroom environments where one profile dominates; assortment packs are the better choice for workshops and maintenance teams where varied deburring tasks arise daily. Keeping a stock of replacement blades on hand prevents downtime when blades dull mid-job. For help identifying the right replacement blade for your Noga handle or application, contact our team.
