Choosing Ergodyne gear
For heat, start with how and where the gear will be used. Evaporative products work with water, so they tend to suit dry heat better than humid conditions. A vest cools the body, a towel or bandana covers the neck and head, and the hard hat liners and pads are for wearing under a hard hat. Check the liner fits your hat before ordering in a pack of 24.
For tools, check the load rating on the lanyard against the weight of the tool, and fit the right belt size. Tool lanyards are for securing tools. They are not personal fall-arrest equipment and must not be used to support a person.
Always check the data sheet. Confirm sizing, ratings and use before you buy, especially for anything you rely on for protection or support.

No. Tool lanyards secure tools and are not personal fall-arrest equipment. For fall protection see our height safety range and check the rating on the data sheet.
