Hard Hats and Safety Helmets

Hard hats and safety helmets for Australian workplaces must comply with AS/NZS 1801 (Occupational protective helmets) and be used in accordance with AS/NZS 1800. Our range covers the main hard hat classes used on Australian worksites:

• Class A / General Industrial: Protects against falling objects and low-voltage electrical hazards. Standard for construction sites, manufacturing and general industry.
• Class B / Industrial: Offers the same impact protection as Class A with higher electrical insulation rating. Used in electrical utilities and high-voltage environments.
• Vented Helmets: Feature ventilation slots for heat management in warm environments. Not suitable for electrical hazard environments — check compliance requirements for the specific worksite.
• Bump Caps: Lighter-duty head protection for environments with limited overhead clearance and bump hazards rather than falling object risks. Not suitable as a replacement for a hard hat where falling object protection is required.
