Alkaline Floor Degreasers

Concentrated formulations are diluted to working strength — a 1:20 to 1:50 dilution is typical for general floor cleaning, with lower dilutions (stronger concentration) for heavy contamination. Solvent Degreasers

Solvent-based degreasers dissolve hydrocarbon oils rapidly and completely — they are effective on heavy oil and grease contamination where alkaline chemistry would require extended contact time or mechanical scrubbing. Use in ventilated areas and comply with the Safety Data Sheet requirements for the specific product. Water-based solvent emulsion degreasers combine fast degreasing action with easier waste management than pure solvent products.

Surface Preparation Products

Before painting, coating, or sealing a concrete or metal floor, the surface must be clean, free of oils, and free of loose material. Alkaline degreasers require chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection during dilution and application; concentrated product splashed on skin should be flushed immediately with water.
