Choosing a thread chaser
Start with the thread form, pitch and size, then the rake style and diehead the chasers are made for. A Coventry set has to match the diehead you are using, so confirm the diehead model and the chaser style before you order. The rake letters in the product title (S, B, M5, AM5) identify the style, and NAMCO is listed on some sizes. If you are not sure what you need, call us with the diehead or machine model and we can help match it.

A Coventry chaser is the cutting insert used in a Coventry style diehead. Our Goliath Coventry chasers are listed as sets of 4 pieces for the thread form, pitch and rake shown in the title.
What do S-rake, B-rake and M5-rake mean?
These are the chaser styles listed in the product titles. The right one depends on your diehead and the material you are threading, so check the data sheet or call us if you are unsure.
Which thread forms do you list?

Are any left hand chasers available?
