Choosing a washdown gun or nozzle
Start with the connection: check the thread type and size on the listing (BSP, GHT, or the nozzle thread size) against your hose and fittings. Then match the gun or nozzle to the water supply. Check the data sheet for the working pressure and flow of each one, because a gun or nozzle that suits a hose reel will not necessarily suit a higher pressure supply.
Washdown guns control the flow at the hand, and the Flow Boss sleeves and grip kit protect and make the gun easier to hold. Twist nozzles let you adjust the spray pattern, and sweeper and hose reel nozzles suit general hose work. For food or hygiene areas, check the data sheet for the materials and finish.
