Condenser and boiler tube brushes are bound with a spiral held together with a wire core, and are made for cleaning the inside of pipes, including threaded pipe and O ring slots. This boiler tube brush comes in 20 diameters from 22 mm to 127 mm, all with a 1/2 in BSW thread.
The spiral of tempered steel gives a greater brush density, and the brush removes rust and residue and soft or hard deposits. A 1.5 m flexible extension is available (BTBEXT), which attaches to the threaded section of the brush. Fit the brush to a drill chuck only at extremely low speed, below 80 rpm: the brush will bend or snap at higher speeds.

Selecting the right option
Choose the diameter to suit the inside of the tube. For long pipes, add the 1.5 m flexible extension, which attaches to the threaded section of the brush. Fit the brush to a drill chuck only at extremely low speed, below 80 rpm: the brush will bend or snap at higher speeds. Wear eye protection and gloves when brushing, because wire can break off during use.
