Astm a105 carbon steel, suitable for high-pressure header take-offs
A forged branch outlet that lets you take a smaller line off a larger pipe header without a separate weld pad. The buttweld end connects to the branch pipe, and the curved foot welds directly onto the curved surface of the header. Made to MSS SP-97-2012 in ASTM A105 carbon steel, so the outlet is reinforced and rated for the same service as the header. A clean solution where weldolet, sockolet or threadolet-style branch take-offs are needed.
