A galvanised mild steel cap that closes off a male-threaded pipe end with a female-threaded cap. Hot-dipped galvanised finish gives outdoor and damp-service durability from the zinc layer. Threads are cut to AS 1722.1 / BS 21 (BSP taper), the standard Australian pipe thread. As a pipe cap in the AAP range, it pairs cleanly with the rest of the galvanised steel pipe fitting line.
