Mitutoyo 500-753-20 IP67 Digital Caliper 8"

The Mitutoyo Series 500 ABSOLUTE coolant proof caliper is a digital caliper built for workshops where coolant, water, dust or oil get on the tools. Machinists, toolrooms and inspectors use it because the digital display cuts reading errors, and there is no need to reset the origin after switching on. It reads in inches or millimetres.

IP67 means the caliper is dust-tight and can handle a short dip in water. Dry the tool after use. ABSOLUTE means it keeps its origin when switched off, so there is no need to reset it. These three codes have no SPC data output. SPC output is a port that sends readings to a computer for process control, and other codes in the range have it. Resolution is the smallest step on the display. Maximum permissible error is the most a reading can be out. To choose, pick the range: 6", 8" or 12".
