Mitutoyo 0-150mm ABSOLUTE Caliper, SPC Output

The Mitutoyo Series 500 ABSOLUTE Digimatic Caliper with SPC output comes in four sizes: 0 to 150mm, 0 to 200mm, 0 to 18" (450mm) and 0 to 24" (600mm). The two small sizes read in millimetres. The two large sizes are hardened stainless steel calipers that read in inches or millimetres. All four have an SPC data port.

Resolution is the smallest step the display shows. Accuracy is how close a reading is to the true size, and it is a separate figure. The small sizes have a resolution of 0.01mm and an accuracy of ±0.02mm. The large sizes read to .0005" or 0.01mm with an accuracy of ±.002" (±0.05mm). An ABSOLUTE scale remembers where the jaws are, so you do not have to set zero each time you switch on. SPC output is a data port. With an optional cable it sends readings to a computer or data logger. The cable is not included. For 150mm and 200mm work choose the small sizes, which carry a thumb roller. For parts up to 450mm or 600mm choose the large sizes.
