M10x1.25 Metric Fine Allthread Rod, 316 Stainless Steel - ATRA4FM10X1000

The Allthread Rod A4 Metric Fine Thread, 316 Stainless Steel is available in 4 sizes (M8x1.0 to M16x1.50) and is a straight rod threaded along its full length. It is cut to length and used with nuts and washers to hang, tie, clamp or span between two fixing points.

You can choose from 4 variants, covering sizes M8x1.0 to M16x1.50. Variants are supplied in packs of 5 to 10, depending on size.

Made from 316 (A4) stainless steel, the grade normally specified for chloride-exposed work such as coastal installations, swimming pools, marine fittings and food-processing plant. Metric fine (fine pitch) thread has more threads per millimetre than standard metric coarse thread, so it does not mate with coarse-thread nuts or tapped holes.

Austenitic stainless steel is generally non-magnetic, although cold-worked parts can show weak magnetism. In wet conditions, keep stainless steel apart from aluminium and galvanised steel with a washer or sleeve, to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.

Selecting the right option

Match the thread system to the nuts and fittings you already have: metric coarse, metric fine, UNC and BSW rods are not interchangeable. Cut rods can leave a burr, so run a nut over the cut end before use.
