This set of alloy NPT dies (SD89100 through SD89105) is made from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading on NPT work. The alloy is ideal for general purpose threading on black or galvanised pipe and rod, with the broader Asada range also covering BSPT, BSPS, Conduit, BSW, Metric, UNC and UNF. Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended, as oil quality has a big effect on die life.
