The SDH20147 diehead cuts BSPS parallel threads from 1/2 to 1-1/4 and is made from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading. It works across BSPT, NPT, Conduit, BSW, Metric, UNC and UNF, with alloy dies for black or galvanised pipe and rod, and HSS for stainless and high tensile steels. Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended, as the quality of cutting oil has a big effect on die life.
