The BECO BHTS ZZ C4 200° is a deep groove ball bearing for high temperature work up to 200°C. It is built on standard bearing boundary dimensions from stabilised AISI 52100 chrome steel, with C4 radial internal clearance and ZZ steel shields on both sides. This range has 11 sizes with bores from 10 to 60 mm across the 6200 and 6300 series.
BECO rates it for -30°C to +200°C, with an economic operating range of 120°C to 200°C. It is lubricated for life with grease for temperatures up to 200°C, so it needs no additional lubrication. BECO describes it as identical to its Viton sealed 200° range except for the ZZ shields in place of Viton seals, which saves cost.

Selecting the right option
Select by bore, outside diameter and width first, then check the limiting speed for that size in the table against the shaft speed. Limiting speeds run from 1,600 to 5,800 rpm, falling as the bearing gets larger.
The static load rating is shown at 200°C and at 20°C. Use the figure for the temperature the bearing will actually run at.
Above 200°C choose the shielded 280°C range. Where the bearing needs rubber seals, see the Viton sealed 200°C range.
Fitting and use
This bearing is lubricated for life and needs no additional lubrication.
Press the ring that has the interference fit onto its seat, and never push through the balls or the other ring.
The shaft and housing expand with temperature, so check the fits at operating temperature.
