The BECO stainless steel thin section sealed deep groove ball bearing is a light series for tight radial space. It is made from hardened stainless steel for the rotating parts, with an AISI 304 cage and stainless steel 2RS seals on both sides, and standard radial internal clearance. BECO lists this series as 61900, so for example the 6901 is BECO catalogue size 61901. This range has 11 sizes with bores from 10 to 50 mm.
It is lubricated for life with a grease BECO lists as suitable for the food industry under NSF H1, and is rated for -20°C to +100°C. BECO describes the tempered stainless construction as suited to mildly aggressive applications and does not recommend it where acids, salts or sea water are present. Selecting the right option
Select by bore, outside diameter and width first, then check the limiting speed for that size in the table against the shaft speed. Limiting speeds run from 2,800 to 8,500 rpm, falling as the bearing gets larger.
The static load rating is the BECO catalogue figure for the size. These are magnetic bearings: contact AIMS Industrial if you need a non-magnetic stainless bearing.

Fitting and use
The bearing is lubricated for life and needs no additional lubrication.
Press the ring that has the interference fit onto its seat, and never push through the balls or the other ring.
Do not use the bearing with acids, salts or sea water present without checking with AIMS Industrial first.
