Where this product is used

Reciprocating saw blades are selected by TPI (teeth per inch), length, and material — coarse-pitch blades cut fast through timber, fine-pitch through metal.

Selecting the right option

TPI is the primary selection variable: 3–5 TPI for fast demolition timber cuts; 8–10 TPI for timber where finish matters; 14–18 TPI for thin metal; 24 TPI for thin-wall pipe and sheet metal. Variable-pitch blades reduce vibration. Blade length must exceed the cut depth by at least 1".
