- HSSE-V3 HSSE with 3% Vanadium high performance tap.
- TiAlN (Titanium Aluminium Nitride) coating provides higher temperature resistance and improved surface hardness.
- Optimised for machining Cast Iron.
- Spiral flute with 15° helix angle.
- Designed for tapping blind holes where the right hand spiral forces swarf out of the hole and prevents clogging which may cause breakage or spoiled threads.
- Designed to withstand the high stress and high heat associated with CNC production tapping.
- Optimised material and geometry to manage the difficult and highly abrasive machining of cast iron.
- TiAlN coating increases tool surface hardness to 87Rc.
- For machining materials with Hardness < 300 HB : Tensile Strength <1000 N/mm².
