- HSSE-V3 Yellow Band Spiral Point Tap
- HSSE-V3 HSSE with 3% Vanadium high performance tap.
- Optimised for machining Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys.
- Spiral point, straight flute with angular cutting faces at the lead.
- Primarily design for tapping through holes but can be used for blind holes provided there is ample clearance beyond the threaded section to accommodate the swarf.
- Designed to withstand the high stress and high heat associated with CNC production tapping.
- Optimised geometry to manage difficult long chip formation and material that has tendencies to stick to the tool.
- For machining materials with Hardness < 200 HB : Tensile Strength <700 N/mm².
