Bossweld 2% Silver Brazing Rods 2 | 365012

The Bossweld 2% Silver Brazing Alloy is a copper-phosphorus brazing rod with 2% silver, for joining non-ferrous metals and for repair work. It has good fluidity and excellent capillary action, so it fills close-fitting joints well.

It brazes at around 875 degrees Celsius, which allows controlled heat input, and produces strong, reliable joints. It comes in 2 and 2.4 mm diameters.

Selecting the right option

Choose the diameter to suit the joint and the heat you are working with. For a higher silver content with more fluidity, see the 5% and 15% alloys. Brazing and soldering fumes can be harmful, so work with good ventilation or fume extraction and check the safety data sheet for the exact composition.
