The Bossweld 50/50 Resin Core Solder is a traditional 50% tin, 50% lead solder with a resin flux core. The core cleans the surface and reduces oxidation as you solder, so you do not need to apply separate flux for most work.

The low melting point, around 212 degrees Celsius, gives efficient heat transfer and quick flow. It comes in 1.6, 2.4 and 3.2 mm diameters on 0.5 kg spools.

Choose the diameter to suit the joint size and the heat you have. Contains lead, so check the safety data sheet and local rules before using it on drinking water pipework or food-contact work.
