Bossweld Bernard Style Conical Insulated Gas Nozzle 14 mm, 400/500 fits Bernard 400/500 style MIG torches. It is a 14 mm (9/16 in) conical insulated nozzle, supplied in a pack of 2.

The nozzle directs shielding gas around the weld pool to protect it from the atmosphere, and it shields the front end of the torch from spatter and heat. A conical nozzle tapers towards the tip, which improves access and visibility in tight joints.

Choose the nozzle to match your torch style, insulator and diffuser, and pick the diameter for the job: a larger nozzle gives wider gas coverage for higher-current welding, and a smaller one gets into tighter joints. Spatter that builds up inside a nozzle restricts gas flow and can cause porosity, so clean nozzles regularly and replace them when they are damaged or heavily worn.
