Bossweld Bernard Style Swan Neck, 200/300, 400 and 500 fit Bernard style MIG torches. Swan necks are available for 200/300, 400 and 500 torches.

The swan neck is the curved tube that connects the torch handle to the front-end parts, and it carries the welding current, shielding gas and wire to the contact tip. It takes heat and spatter at the front of the torch, so it is a wear part, and it is the first thing to check if the torch has been dropped or the front end will not seat properly.

Selecting the right option

Match the swan neck to your torch style and, where there is a choice, to the bend angle: a 45 degree bend and a 60 degree bend change the angle at which the nozzle approaches the joint. Fit the front-end consumables made for the same torch style, because swan necks and consumables from different styles do not interchange.
