The Bossweld GLX Hardfacing Gasless MIG Wire is a self-shielded flux-cored wire that deposits a high-carbon austenitic steel. It is classified AS/NZS 2576 1865-B7 (manufacturer-stated).
It suits surfaces that face abrasion and low impact, with very low fume and spatter. The 0.9 mm wire can be used on single-phase 240 V, 250 A MIG welders. It comes in 0.9 mm on 1 kg, 5 kg and 15 kg spools, and 1.2 mm on a 15 kg spool.
